Beyond the Rub: Ridding Yourself of Neck and Shoulder Pain, For Good
Saturday, March 21st from 1-2:30p
A 90-minute workshop to help you create real, lasting relief
Hosted by Lisa Knighton, a Board-Certified Structural Integration Practitioner and an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer
If you have ever wondered why your neck always feels tight or why your shoulder pain keeps coming back, you are not alone.
Most people get stuck in a frustrating cycle. Massage brings relief, but the pain returns. Foam rolling helps for a while, but the tension creeps back in. Stretching helps for a moment, but the problem does not really resolve.
It is not because your body is failing you.
It is because the real problem is often not only in the place that hurts.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn why treating only the tense area rarely works, and what actually helps your body change for the long term.
You Will Leave This Workshop With:
A clear understanding of your unique pattern, including posture, breath, stress response, movement habits, and how your body has adapted over time.
Clarity about why trigger points keep returning and what needs to happen differently.
Practical and safe strategies for releasing tension at home.
A simple and repeatable four-step system for real relief
An understanding of whether your situation may be more complex and guidance on appropriate next steps.
Confidence that your body truly can feel better and support you with more comfort and ease.
This workshop is not about a quick fix. It is about helping you understand your body, restore healthier movement patterns, and create relief that lasts.

What Makes This Workshop Different?
Many approaches only focus on the painful area. The body does not work in isolated pieces. It functions as an interconnected tensegrity system, where every part affects the others. Shoulder pain may be influenced by the ribs, the hips, or even the feet.
This experience blends real science with compassionate, clear teaching. It is grounded in Structural Integration and fascia work, corrective exercise, movement education, and years of professional practice.
You will observe live demonstrations, explore your own body’s unique tendencies, and see how combining release, mobility, lengthening, and activation helps the body change in meaningful ways.
This Workshop Is Perfect For:
• People with recurring neck tightness or shoulder discomfort
• Desk workers, frequent phone users, and drivers
• Yogis, Pilates students, athletes, and active humans
• Anyone who feels like they have tried everything without long-term results
• Anyone who wants to understand their body more deeply
Here Is the Truly Exciting Part:
The goal is not fancy tools, aggressive stretching, or endless appointments.
The real win is this:
A body that feels good to live in.
A neck that moves freely.
Shoulders that do not ache every day.
The freedom to work, move, play, and simply exist without constant tension.
That is what we are working toward.
